The theme of the competition is “Mons, a city living for today, a city dreaming of tomorrow...” It is open to amateurs over 16 years of age, who are members of a photography club or photography students.
Where technology meets culture
The theme running through the event is : « Mons, where technology meets culture ». This will form a link between the city’s heritage and cultural past and its development as a centre for the digital technologies and arts. Like the railway station signed by the architect Santiago Calatrava which will link the two sides of Mons, its heritage, and its future development.
